Book slots

Book slots

Book slots are built around a book symbol that acts as both a scatter and a wild. The main feature is a free spins round with an expanding symbol. Before the free spins start, one symbol is chosen as the special expanding symbol. When it lands in enough positions, it stretches across the reel and pays in more ways. This page lists seven book slots from 1spin4win, Novomatic and Spinomenal. This guide explains the feature and lists the titles available.

How the book symbol works

The book symbol has two jobs. As a wild, it substitutes for other symbols to complete a line. As a scatter, a set of book symbols opens the free spins round. After that, the game picks one symbol to expand. The expanded symbol covers full reels when enough copies appear. It does not need to sit on adjacent paylines to count.

During free spins, the chosen symbol expands when enough copies appear to cover a full reel. The book symbol also remains active as a wild during the feature. This keeps the feature focused and makes each free spin easy to follow.
